California is also home to some of the best beaches anywhere, and is known for its surfing culture and beaches all over the world. The geographical center of California is located close to North Fork. Generally, the state is divided into Northern California, and Southern California. However, the lines defining Southern California and Northern California are not fixed. The different types of regions found in California range from arid deserts to fertile agricultural lands, and the weather varies as well.
California is famous for its wine. According to production quantity, California would be the 4th largest producer of wine in the world if it were counted as a separate country. The most famous vineyards are located in the Napa Valley.
