Where is California?

California is, population wise, the largest state in the United States of America, with over 39 million inhabitants. It falls under the West Coast of USA, in North America. It borders other important states like Oregon on the north side, Nevada on the east side, Arizona on the Southeast side, and the on the south side of it lies Baja California, which is a state of Mexico.

There are many important cities in California which are known all over the world, including 8 of the most highly populated cities of USA. These include Los Angeles, Fresno, San Diego, San Jose, Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, Fremont, and many more. California is well known over the world for its party culture and beaches. California also has a very advantageous geography.

It has a huge coast to the Pacific Ocean to its west. On the northwest of California lie the Redwood-Douglas fir forests, and on the south east of California is the Mojave Desert. Central valley, which is a major area for agriculture, lies in the center of California. The total number of cities and towns in the state is 482.

California is a popular destination for tourists, housing some of the most famous landmarks in the United States of America. This includes world famous parks and recreation centers such as Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, Yosemite National Park, Legoland California Resort, and Death Valley National Park.

It also contains some of the most famous buildings and constructions in America such as Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood Sign, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Hearst Castle. California is also home to some of the best beaches anywhere, and is known for its surfing culture and beaches all over the world. These beaches include Moonstone Beach, Santa Monica Beach, Laguna Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Huntington Beach.

The geographical center of California is located close to North Fork. Generally, the state is divided into Northern California, and Southern California. However, the lines defining Southern California and Northern California are not fixed. The different types of regions found in California range from arid deserts to fertile agricultural lands, and the weather varies as well.

California is famous for its wine. According to production quantity, California would be the 4th largest producer of wine in the world if it were counted as a separate country. The most famous vineyards are located in the Napa Valley.
