Where is Ethiopia?

Ethiopia is an African country which is present in the Horn of Africa and is called the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. This park, along with many other wildlife reserves, contains a diverse range of endemic species, such as the Walia Ibex, the Simien Fox or the Ethiopian Wolf, the Gelada Baboon and many more. Blue Nile Falls and Lake Tana are two other mesmerizing places to visit in Ethiopia. Tourists usually take a boat ride to witness the medieval monasteries which are located on Urs Kidanemeherat and Kibrab Gebriel Island. Later in the afternoon, the beautiful sight of the Blue Nile Falls is a visual treat. Many tourists also find pleasure in visiting the historic Weyto village and the beautiful Bezawit Palace which happen to be the resting place of the great emperor Haile Selassie.

Debre Damo, which is the first monastery of the country, is also a great historical place to visit. Close to this monastery, there’s a unique town Adigrat, which captures the tourists’ attention owing to its unique traditions and great hospitality.
