Where is Norway? It is a Scandinavian country that is located in the north and shares its border with Sweden, Finland, and Russia. The country was ruled by the Vikings back in 872 A.D. but in the 14th century, Sweden and Norway were unified. By the end of the century, Sweden and Norway furthered their alliance with Denmark. Sweden broke out from the union first, and Denmark and Norway broke up in 1814. After this, Norway reunited with Sweden again till 1905. During the Second World War the country was occupied by German forces.

The main cities are Ålesund, Bergen, Bodø, Kristiansand, Oslo, Stavanger, Tromsø, and Trondheim.
