Where is Spain geographically? Spanning over a total area of 505,990 kilometer square, Spain is a beautiful country and the most popular getaway spot in Europe. It is located in south west Europe on the famous Iberian Peninsula with several archipelagos in the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. The south and east side of the country is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea while the north west and west side is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Portugal. Besides this, several major rivers also pass through the country which include the Tagus river, Ebro, Douro, Guadiana, Segura and Minho to name a few.
